Welcome to my blog.

I am Abdulhameed Idris, born in Nassarawa Local Government of Kano State. He hails from Alapo's compound of Okelerin, Ogbomoso, Oyo State. He attended AWA nursery and primary school, Bukavu Barracks, Kano (1991-1998). During that period he had a sound record in mathematics among other subjects. Little Idris also held a Pressclub membership in the school. In furthering his education, he wrote the competitive National Common Entrance Examination, where he got a good score for admission into Federal Government College, Ogbomoso (FEGCO) in 1998.
At FEGCO, he was involved in inter-house-sporting activities, debate competition and cleaning of hostels and other school environment. His talent for mathematics drove him to science class in his senior school. Meanwhile, he had written his Junior School Certificate Examinations (JSCE) and cleared the whole subjects.
Being a science student in senior school, his interest for mathematics and further mathematics increased. This made him to get a very good score in mathematics and other science subjects. He graduated in 2004. Due to his quest for knowledge, this young man, in 2006 got admission to study computer engineering in the best State University in Nigeria (LAUTECH) and graduated in 2011 with a second class degree (upper division). While he was there, he was involved in academics and religious activities.  He was a member of the Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria (MSSN), National Association of Computer Science Students (NACOSS) and a host of others. He was active in classes and was assigned a course representative in 300, 400 and 500 levels of the same. His final year project was analysis of simulated annealing to decongest traffic in a multi-road intersection.
He was mobilized for National Youth Service by July 2012, where he was deployed to Gombe State (the jewel of the Savannah). At Mallam Sidi NYSC Orientation Camp, the young man was involved in Camp activities. From platoon drills to inter-platoon competitions; from the skill acquisition training to Anti-HIV/AIDS, this committed Young man contributed immensely.
However, he was shortlisted as a member in the (Outside Broadcast Team) OBS Technical Crew following the interview being conducted. There, he was able to integrate his ICT skills to driving the station forward. He was also involved in basic repair of the generator and setting up of studio for broadcast. As if that was not enough, he also contributed meaningfully to the ICT office and NYSC Gombe State Director's office at Mallam Sidi NYSC camp. He also contributed to Anti-HIV/AIDS training through his ICT skills.
Meanwhile, he relocated to Osun State August 2012. Corps member Idris was posted to Ansar-ud-Deen Grammar School, Osogbo. While there, he was assigned a class teacher (SS1a), computer science teacher (SS1) and was a Peer Education Trainer (PET). He then organised training for staff and students on ICT and donated a desktop computer plus first-aid-kits for humanity.
